Our Services.
Design.
We will sit down with you at our first meeting and establish what kind of experience you want from the room. A dedicated home cinema room or a media room:
Dedicated Home Cinema Room
This space usually contains at least one row of seats, a projection-based system with a screen over 100" and minimal opportunity for natural light to enter the room.
Media Room
This space may have a multifunctional purpose and will likely contain a large screen, a row of seating, and a bar or games area. There may also be increased natural light to deal with and it is far more a larger entertaining space than the dedicated home cinema room.
Once the brief is clearly defined, we will initiate basic technical calculations to produce an initial quotation that meets your requirements. At this stage, we also invite you to experience different home cinema setups at one of the showrooms we have access to.
Upon formal appointment and the payment of a design fee, we will continue with our technical calculations and begin to produce drawings and design renders for you to approve before work on site begins.
Install.
The Luxe team will begin work on-site once the designs and final quotation are approved. We take control of every aspect of our installation, ensuring we deliver your project to our highest standards.
The installation can consist of rebuilding sections on the internal walls, soundproofing, construction of a stage, running of all cabling, speakers and display mounting, recarpeting, redecoration, fabric stretching and fitting of furniture and artwork.
Company director Richard Colman oversees the project delivery; all our engineers are full-time staff members. We manage specialist contractors with whom we have built solid relationships and trust over the years. Our highly trained and professional staff will treat your property with the utmost respect.
Calibration.
Upon completion, we will calibrate your home cinema room to the peak of its performance. Display calibration requires adjusting the visual display settings on the projector or large television panel using specialist metering equipment to ensure accurate white and black levels and refining the display's red, green and blue levels. Upon completion of the display calibration, we apply a similar process to the audio treatment in the room using microphones and computer software to ensure the best soundstage from the installed equipment.
We will then hand over the room and guide you through any training on the all-in-one remote controllers we have installed. Some of our equipment will need an annual review to ensure they run on the latest firmware versions, whereas most will automatically update. Rest assured; we are here to ensure your cinema room remains at peak performance in the long term.
